Anyone going to WFC (Westmead) #6
Yes how are you going MrsJ? I hope you are comfortable and the little one is snuggling down.
CD1 for me today. No IVF cycle for me this month, as ultrasound and egg collection would fall smack bang in the middle of the week that we are away on holiday. Frustrating, but I have accepted this. I am at acupuncture on Monday. My acupuncturist has suggested starting me back on chinese herbs this month, stopping the day of starting a new IVF cycle. At this stage it can only help, so I will give that a go.

How is all going, ladies? Any updates for us?
We welcomed baby Claire on Friday, she is 5 days old and absolutely amazing. Can't quite believe how lucky we are to have taken this wee one home.

Hi Ladies, just a quick question, will WFC use donor eggs? Hypothetically, if a friend were to offer me her eggs and we used DHs sperm, has anyone heard of WFC doing this? Or any different clinics? Thank you

I don't know for sure but I'm pretty sure WFC doesn't do donor eggs but there are other clinics that do. I think that's why chiefsgirl moved clinics from WFC. Worth a ring to clarify though

Hi Ladies, thank you for your replies. I didn't actually get a chance to ring and ask WFC. I had a look at the costings sheet and couldn't see a cycle with donor eggs there. I have an appointment with my FS on Friday, so I will ask then. I just had a failed fresh cycle using own eggs :-( I am hoping to give it one more crack before Christmas using my own eggs. But at 39, I am starting to be realistic about the viability of my my own eggs.
