Hello All. This is my first time ever in a blog/forum. I have had 4 failed transfers all with WFC. One resulted in a BFP last year however had misscraraige pretty early on 5weeks. I just have had my 5th transfer (FET after thawing) and I don't think anything happened. Next week is the test due which I am not expecting to be positive. Just wanted to seek your advice should I consider another clinic or another FS. Really very upset and disappointed. I am with Dr Melham now also seen Dr Nalini Gayer. Any advice will be great.

Hi there, sorry you have had a tough journey so far. I do think a change of clinics is warranted after 5 failed transfers particularly if you may be older too (sorry not sure of your age). I think WFC is a great clinic but a fresh set of eyes with a slightly different protocol might be just what you need. You can ask your new clinic to transfer all your paperwork over too. Best wishes

Are you checking progesterone levels? I'd get some progesterone support ASAP and ask to have your levels checked with a simple blood test.

I am also with WFC and I have found them great so far, but I think if you have 3 or more failed cycles you should consider looking elsewhere. From my experience, WFC do have quite basic protocols compared to some other clinics. You might just need a doctor with more experience or who specialises in your particular issue. What is the reason for your infertility? Also, good luck with your current cycle! I hope this is your BFP and you won't have to worry about changing clinics!

going for an update! I just did my first FET at wfc and it was successful. So I have nothing but good things to say about this clinic. But I think they are tailored more for women with either male factor issues or some very minor issues. If you have complex reasons for not conceiving, well they do minimal monitoring so its probably best to try somewhere else. But I hope that you have a bfp next week! I was very much convinced that my FET didn't work also but much to my surprise I tested 4 days after transfer and it was positive!

Hello Ladies, thanks for your feedbacks. I am 36. I don't really know what my problem is. No of eggs are ok. He has got no issue at all. However I have a retro verted uterus and had endometriosis which was operated last year. I have been in IVF for just above an year. Implantation might be an issue not sure. After laparoscopy all looked very good and then I had the BFP but as I said did not progress after 5 weeks. This current one the embryo grade is C. I am taking progesterone pressaries and blood thinner tablets. If need be will move to a new clinic with a new doctor. But not sure whom should I go to. It's really frustrating.. Also confused.

At 36 I'd get moving. Professor Peter Illingworth at IVF Australia at Westmead has an amazing reputation especially on difficult cases so he may be one to check out ?
I have a retroverted uterus and it shouldn't impact on an ivf implanted embryo. But sorry if TMI but the 2 times I managed to fall pregnant naturally (eventually needed IVF ) it was both from a very rare DTD in the doggy position. I think it's more than just coincidence that this position is favourable to pregnancy with a retroverted uterus.
Best of luck with your next move forward
