Thanks @Billie2! Do you have a fireplace? I would love to cosy up to it right now because it's freezing at my place - even with my heaters on. Can't believe you're taking emby home on Monday already. This will be the one!! Best of luck!
Can I ask how long the procedure usually takes and whether husband needs to be there as well? He doesn't want to miss it but like today, he was there but was constantly on his phone/laptop with work and is not sure he can sneak out again.
How did you go today @tjuls?
Transfer day will be here soon @hopefulangel1987 then we can all be in tww together 😁

Any experiences with primary IVF #4
@Mimimoo the actual procedure is a matter of minutes. Ive always gone alone. My DH is the same. He asked on wed not to be phoned till I was ready to walk out. Depends how many ladies waiting. Ive had an hour wait at night or about 15mins wait on a sat morn. Its always good to see other ladies from EPU at transfer & wish each other luck.
Yep, fireplace is chugging in this cold snap!

Yay to ET on Monday @Billie2! Mornings are good I think!
@Mimimoo, ET is quick, the only delay is the wait time if any. For me, I was in and out of there in 15 mins - no wait (mine was at 3.30pm in the afternoon). DH wanted to come, but was late from getting off work so by the time he arrived, I was already out of there and having a hot choc at the acfe down the road. Your partner doesn't have to be there if it's tough for him to! Crinone usually starts the day before and the instructions come with the text message that informs you of the ET time and date.
@hopefulangel1987, ET will roll around quicker than you expect, it is very exciting and I think FET feels harder to wait for because there is no stim action. Soon hun!
Hang in there @tjuls - Sat will roll around soon and i hope you have had time to treat yourself well and not been too snowed under at work!

@VickyP gone are the days I would get all excited about a transfer, now I have to set reminders on my phone to get BT, scans and transfers because I'm so 'whatever' about it now...haha.. less obsessing about every little detail
@hopefulangel1987- how did ur BT go today? Will we be crossing paths on Mon 😉. I requested to have my scan at 7am- bright and earlier to get to work on time. Didn't want to take a day off. Hope we get to transfer on the same day

I just wanted to thank everyone for the kind words.
BFN suck big time and strangely NEVER get easier, even if you brace yourself and stay realistic. I mean after all, I've been given 5-10% chance of success, so who am I kidding?
But a chance, even tiny, is still a chance and that's what we want to look at. As we should!
I can't deny that at each BFN, I feel like it's another piece of me that dies... To see that single line, over and over again... arrgg I hate it so much! Well you all know too well that feeling...
But I guess the thing I wanted to say today is: a BFN is just that, a BFN.
It is not the end of the world, it is just the end of a cycle.
There will be other cycles. How many, I think I'd rather not know lol! But I want to believe that eventually, statistically, it will work.
I wish everyone could have their BFP first round, but for all the ladies who deal or will have to deal with a bloody BFN, just keep in mind: it is just the end of THIS cycle. Don't let it eat you alive.
It kinda helps, at least for me.
Wishing ya all a great weekend!

Beautifully said @LillyM.
It's doesn't get any easier seeing that single line over and over again but we have to hold on to the hope that the nxt mnth could be it.
I have hope that it will happen. This process has really taught me patience ( which I usually don't have).
