Default What's the best holiday you have ever been on .... With kids ?

Hi there ! My husband has been working so hard for around 5 years on a project that will come to completion at the end of the year. He really needs a holiday . The last one we had ( what I would call a proper break ) was 6 years ago. Now we have 3 kids under 7 and I want to save and book a nice treat . Most likely in Australia . What's your best ever holiday with kids ? I'd be really grateful for a few suggestions xx

We holiday around 2 times a year with our 4 girls aged 9,7,6&4 and hands down, the best holiday we've had is on a cruise. We did the pacific islands but you can do Australian cruises too. My girls are constantly asking to go back on a boat. Otherwise you can never go past the Gold Coast and all the theme parks it has to offer. We are off to the Gold Coast on Thursday.

How about a road trip? Get a caravan and go around Australia as much as you can or a cruise sounds great also.

Carnival spirit cruise. Hands down. We are doing another one in 2 years. No washing, cleaning, nothing. It was a real break in every sense of the word but I think you might need to book asap as you would need to book 2 rooms.

With a child, a cruise hands down. We went to the islands. There was so much to do. I am looking forward to doing another cruise in the next few years

Would have to be a cruise! So good not having to do anything!! Except eat, sleep and relax! I have done the islands with the kids but have booked one for up the Australian Coast for September next year

Subbing. Cruise is on my wish list- for fanilies with 3 or more children, which cruise lines have cabins bigger than quads? We like Gold Coast, with 3 kids of different ages, it does cater for everyone.
