I'd put it back for another one - I so rarely get soft drink these days that I'm not willing to take responsibility for wrecking my treat

I would have stood the bottle back up but left it on the floor right next to the shelf to give an aura that something is not quite right with that bottle-but now i think about it, it would just create a trip hazzard...
On another note, i prefer to take my soft drink directly from a can and at room temperature.

Back on the shelf for sure. I'd aim for towards the back of the shelf but that factor would depend on whether I could get it in there while also throwing guilty shifty eyes and attempting not to draw attention to myself.
