For those of you who are still kissing, is it all out snogging or more just pecking? My DH and I are affectionate and kiss a lot but I can't remember the last time we snogged properly!

I was used to him working at least 16 hour days or working away, then changed to him working locally only 8 hours a day. We had a fight one day and I actually told him that I hate seeing his face before 7pm at night cause it was my time without him around. Is still a huge adjustment having my dp around more than 1 day a week

We are affectionate, hugs and kisses when we say hello or goodbye. When we go to sleep though, i need to be on my side of the bed, sleeping face down like a plank, so no spooning at sleep time lol. We remain affectionate for each other through our verbal communication too. We are huge talkers and make sure we end up on the same page so we try to be each other's cheerleaders: )

I got sick of zero affection and we have called a halt on the romantic aspect of our relationship.
Still husband and wife but in a housemate type of way.

My hubby would like us to be more affectionate. I just can't get into it to be honest. I try to hug or kiss him when I remember to, because I know it's important for him. But I could do without all that. He decided to hug me all night the other night and I didn't sleep at all. I just laid there gritting my teeth all night. I hate hand holding and kissing and I am pretty indifferent about hugs. I do them because I'm "supposed to". Hubby is much more touchy freely than I am.

I was thinking about this the other day. I was going to start a thread but then felt weird asking people about their personal lives... I know people wouldn't answer unless they wanted to but I rarely ask personal questions. Affection is pretty much at a standstill in our relationship. Whilst I'm not the most affectionate of people, I'm not coping very well with none at all. I'm even more concerned after reading about the level of affection in 15-20 year relationships. We've only got 5 years under our belt, I think we might be in trouble.
