    Default Election 2016

Who are you voting for and why?

Are there any politicians you admire?

Who is going to get a sausage sizzle on Saturday at the local voting station?

    Default Election 2016

Just been to my local candidates public forum. Disappointed and annoyed that my local sitting liberal MP failed to show up. It shows such contempt for his electorate. It's one if the most marginal seats in the country. He only won by 500 votes in the last election but with a redistribution of the boundary, it's not very likely he will win the seat again.

I will most likely vote for the Labor candidate. She is a fantastic politician but I must say I'm not as confident with that vote since hearing The Greens' candidate talk at the forum tonight.

My vote goes for Gonski above anything else so I would not consider a vote for the current government.

My vote in the senate will probably be for Greens, NXT. Haven't completely decided yet as you now need to number at least 6 above the line but I would rather give the vote to smaller parties so one or both parties don't have the majority to pass legislation.

No sausage sizzle as I know there won't be one at my local public school!

Not quite decided who to vote for yet - the major parties seem out of touch.

I don't tend to admire politicians, so I'll say no.

I'm purposely going to a polling booth with a sausage sizzle just to get a snag! Haha.

I'll be voting greens. I like Shorten from an ideological POV, his speech in response to that horror budget of Abbott/Hockey's was amazing. But he lacks *something*.

    And I don't like snags

I don't know who to vote for. I think both major parties are out of touch and full of self interest. And I'm not keen on any of my local options.

I've already voted by post...voted Labor. I just don't think the current government is doing a good job. I'm also sick to death of getting a new prime minister every two days so hopefully if Labor win we might get a keeper. Who knows.

I haven't told DP that I voted Labor as he votes Liberal and is very anti-Labor. I might just tell a fib if he asks ...what he doesn't know won't hurt him

I really have no understanding of politics. I try to educate myself but I just zone out, I think years of witnessing every politician and party break promises has me disillusioned with the whole system. I did a quiz / assessment the other day and my views are almost tied between greens and labor. I got a 'how to vote' page from our local labor candidate and I like what she stands for, so I'll probably follow that sheet.

As a side note, how many trees are being cut down for the daily flood of propaganda 😡
