Glad DS went well with his baseball game that would of put a smile on both of your faces. Don't worry about the house you can only do so much with not much help.

As for me today. Haven't done a lot. Folded some laundry, saw the neighbours and asked them to cut the tree down already that blocks up the sewer easement, gross yes. Kicking back now with my doggie next to me having a sleep with spaghetti sauce simmering on the stove

Hi ladies, hope you are all keeping warm tonight.

I'm still in my jammies from last night. I have done nothing, absolutely nothing. I'm a bad, bad Mummy.

Just finished putting some new jamberrys on my nails for a 40th tonight. Not 100% sure I want to go but if I don't, I will be sitting st home. Had a decent sort of sleep today too which was good. Normally would only sleep maybe 3 hours tops but managed to get myself 6 hours.

Haha, I'm still in my pyjamas too. I mean having not gotten out of them at all today... mum's day off, right?

So cold! Piked on a BBQ tonight and sent DH in my stead. Now get to stay home and dork around with the kids. Early bed I reckon.

@pointless1, your DS really seems to excel in sports and academics! Glad you got a nap in, too.

We didn't do much today. Washing and dragged DS around to a couple of shops while trying to figure out how to transition him to a bed. DH entertained him for a good portion of the day while I curled up in a ball feeling sick and sorry for myself. Finally caved and took an antiemetic and feel sooooo much better. Now I feel like I could eat all the things, as opposed to the nothing that appealed to me half an hour ago.

Default Anyone for a Saturday chat?

Not much here just potted around the house. Had an incident with the stove (gas + leak + flame = a fireball in the face... No injuries though). So knocked up a quick dinner using the seat function on my slow cooker. Once kids go to bed I plan on watching my telly show, making myself a milkshake and crocheting.

Hubby is away for he week so some peace and quiet tonight I would think

@Ahalfdozen is crocheting easy to teach yourself? When I was in APARC there were a few talented ladies doing it & it appeared to really help their anxiety, something I could do with when I feel a bit like I'm unravelling like I do atm

I reckon even if the sour cream is less than fresh it may be ok, as you're cooking with it? like so long as there's no mould or anything weird going on with it I reckon it should be ok lol. let us know how the recipe goes!
Dinner was good & as a bonus DS actually ate it all for a change

Yes crocheting is quite easy to pick up! Look on YouTube there are heaps of videos. Just watch a few until you find one that makes sense - some of them went too quickly for me. You don't need much to start either just some wool - go a thicker ply and a single needle. I started with a 5.5 needle. You go smaller as you get better.

I don't have great fine motor skills but have muddled along. I find it very relaxing.

I have spent all day in the kitchen and I'm over it but I'm googling Swedish Meatball recipes. Own. Worst. Enemy.
