Default Tuna mornay, without the tuna?

Has anyone tried making "tuna mornay" (tuna, cheesey white sauce, pasta, baked) with salmon or some other fish?
Pregnant and trying to take it easy with the tuna

I've done it with tinned salmon before. It was very tasty!

What about cooked shredded chicken instead of fish? That would work well with the cheesy sauce.

Do you suppose sardines would work or would that just be weird?

My mum makes it with cooked shredded chicken and its yummy, and our daycare centre used to make it with tinned salmon. i think its pretty easy to replace the tuna.

Thanks for the suggestions! I tried a salmon and green bean version last night and it was really good!
