    Default Should I take aspirin?

This might seem like a really stupid question... I've had 4 early mcs but haven't been diagnosed with anything apart from possible insulin resistance.
Anyway I read a post about taking aspirin in early pregnancy and it being beneficial in helping to sustain it by preventing clots. I have no clue if this is my problem, but is it worth a shot, I.e. Will it be harmful? I'm currently in the tww of first ttc cycle for the year.

    I would do it.
I've suffered multiple early miscarriages and chemical pregnancies. Currently taking aspirin and I'm now 16 weeks pregnant!
Low dose aspirin causes no harm so it's worth a shot.

    Thanks babymummatobe, and congrats!

How low is low? Lowest dose I've found is 100mg

Definitely do not take aspirin in pregnancy unless your dr has signed off on it. Low dose aspirin can be a godsend to many women who've suffered recurrent miscarriages (including me) but even a low dose has risks so it's important to check that it is safe for you first. Your dr might also need to prescribe other medications to use in conjunction with or instead of the aspirin so please see them first. Self-medicating in pregnancy is never a good idea.

I've done 4 ivf cycles and my fs prescribes it for all of his patients until 12 weeks if we achieve pregnancy.
