My Boss is in the middle of doing Staff Reviews on all of us at work.
I have had mine done and she wants me to type a My Goal's letter ...
Basically what I think I need to improve on and what I want to achieve on and in what time frame.
I have been around kids for 27 years ....so I am well experienced with children ...but the ELF/Observations-Follow ups-Analysis of learning -Plans and programs-Learning Extensions are all new to me and I am slowly learning about them as I go .....she wants me do in detail write about what I want to improve on and in what time frame....
In regards to Observations I want and need to improve on different words that can and are used in an Observation and follow-up different than the same old same old ...(I know that in time that will all improve with experience but putting that all down on paper I AM HAVING TROUBLE WITH...
I hope you know what I mean ...(MY BOSS WANTS ME TO BE MORE SPACIFFIC WITH MY GOALS AND DATES WHEN I THINK THAT I WILL ACCIEVE THIS BY....)

You mean set a goal, time frame and how you will achieve it?
Can you implement a program? could that be a goal?

For example implementing a program that builds children's confidence in (whatever it is). You plan to achieve this by doing xyz and you will evaluate the outcome in 6 months. Also write how you will measure the results.
At least that way you aren't going to her with nothing.
So think about what you do with the kids in the age group you work with, think about the activities you do, what are you teaching them etc.
Then throw in something about working as a team and supporting other workers by (whatever it is you do) share knowledge, be supportive/understanding, etc.

When you write your observations pretty much regurgitate the learning outcomes as you write once you become more familiar it will get easier.
As for your goals - what do you want to achieve? (Not your director - YOU!)
