@ pingc383 - it was a 5 day PGD embryo.
@ Heyside - I have done two ICSI PGD in 2013 I got two eggs first round both failed then three second cycle. The procedure has changed I had s fresh cycle right after egg collection they don't do it do September October will be the next one. I hate waiting.
@Flower78 - it's all just luck. Only 20% of pregnancies actually work. So it's just trying.
@nattie84 - yes third time is lucky how are you going? Are you pregnant?

We just did PGS and our clinic have quoted a 60% success per transfer with PGS normal embryo. Did yours only quote 20%?

@pingc383 I think they can only test for NK cells via a biopsy, but I'm not 100% sure. I have my second blood test tomorrow morning (CD12) and I will keep having them, usually every 2 days until I have ovulated, usually around (CD 18). My clinic don't do scans for FET, just blood tests, well for me anyway....

@julianicholson the scratch isn't the same as a biopsy, though they can biopsy at the same time. The scratch is just an injury to the uterine lining to stimulate new lining/better environment to implant. I think they don't know for sure why it works but it can almost double pregnancy rates in women with multiple failed implantation.
As far as NK cells go @pingc383 you can do a blood test, but it's not as accurate as it's the levels in the uterus that stop implantation (that's the theory) so a biopsy is best.

Oh wow @Flower78 I had never heard of the scratch test, how interesting. I remembered after posting that I did have a blood test for NK cells as well as the biopsy, so many tests I forget what is what haha.

@cag14 - Its frustrating to have to wait isn't it hun definitely feel for you there xx
@nattie84 - Good luck for epu hun xx @Flower78 - Its definately all just luck we all need a bit of luck on our side its about time. I think thr success rate with pgd depends on age and individual lab results.
@julianicholson and @Flower78 - The endometrial biopsy and scratch procedures are very similar in that the same procedure is done but with the biopsy the sample is sent of for testing. So the endometrium is injured with both procedures. In my first procedure I had the biopsy with testing for nk cells. I was told the procedure can benefit the lining for 3 months so needed it repeating to help my lining again but this time there was no need for testing as that had already been done so it was refered to as a scratch.
