I'm so happy your beautiful cousin is donating some eggs, but I'm sorry that she was unwell. I hope she's feeling better!
I'm surprised you still needed a donor egg give you produced AA and B embryos.. I thought As and Bs were great.. I wonder why they grade them a B or A? Why not a C, D or E? I just don't understand. Wishing you and your gorgeous cousin a successful cycle. thanks again for sharing xx
    Hi @pingc383

Because we have never been able to have a successful pregnancy even on a B or A grade embryo (keeping in mind that out of 5 cycles we only got one A grade embryo)., financially I don't want to keep trying with my own eggs for me to still be in the same position later on...

My friend went through 13 rounds with her own eggs (including some pgd) and her husbands sperm (we have the same the FS) and first round with donor eggs (her sister) she fell pregnant and has about 4 still frozen and she had her baby in May....

sometimes i think that for whatever reason genetics just get screwed up... I think that being on the pill for majority of 10 years played havoc with my egg quality...

@hopefull29 - no I don't want to test. I should considering I'm going to Melbourne for the weekend. But I don't normally. Just have to wait until the 8th

Hi ladies, I'm sorry to just drop in like this. I was in the loop a few weeks back but then went quiet during my first ever cycle. I guess I thought I didn't want to bombard everyone with my journey... yet I was so attentively reading up what was happening to all of you.. Creepy I know!
But now I just need to offload.
It's been ****. Terrible EC (only 3 and only 2 fertilised) terrible idea to transfer my day 4 embryo,
Terrible Friday when I got my period. And not to mention I've had a **** time with the person who should support me the most - my husband. He's been terrible support.
This whole thing is just absolutely terrifying and I feel for all of us.
Baby dust and good wishes to all. You're all amazing, beautiful and no one will ever understand what you're feeling apart from someone else who has been through this.
And in saying that no one knows you and your body like you - we can all ask for advice but the best advice is your own gut.
Keep going girls, you'll get there soon, just believe in yourself.

@cococool sorry to hear it's been a tough road Hun. Are you going to be doing another cycle soon?
I feel comfortable on this site with all these ladies they understand what I'm going through even if our journeys are slightly different

Its so hard, keep your head up! 2/3 eggs collected is still good. My second IVF we had 16 eggs and only 1 was good for transfer!

And as for your husband, men deal with it in a different way and it's hard on them as they feel rather helpless in the whole thing and I think they also feel guilty that we have to go through a lot while they just sit back. Give him some time and I am sure all will be well

@hopefull29 yes, my mum knows how I feel and my bff. I have some lovely people around me. He (DH) just sometimes seem to embody the devil and I seem to be on the receiving end. All fool me as I knew what I was getting into when I married him. I know this is tough for him too. He's a old fashioned type of guy who doesn't speak about his feelings so he bottles it all up and it all comes out the wrong way usually at me over something ridiculous.
But still, I love him and he loves me. @cag14 we'll see - waiting for the tests to come back on the embryo. If they come back in time I might do it in August - otherwise sept - pending if it survives the testing and thawing.
End of the day I'm ok!
Just felt the need to get it off my chest!
    Thank you for checking in

@cococool sorry to hear your having a hard time. It's my first cycle and only family know so when I was having a bad day on Friday at work it was tough.
I'm new to it all and dont really understand a lot, but am finding this group really helpful just by reading what is going on. I'm going for my first scan tomorrow so hoping for something positive as my blood test on Friday showed not much was happening and I had to increase my Gonal f shots. Just not sure what is good!!!
It will all be worth it in the end
