He thinks I get too stressed about it (I don't), that I spend far too much time preparing (Hello, I am entitled to!), and that I will stay up really late the night before finishing the cake (doesn't everyone?).

I think it stems from the fact his mum is the same. Ie goes to a lot of effort for entertaining, cooks up a storm, etc. I am the same. So in essence, he has married his mother, lol.

My mum always made awesome cakes and put on a great kids party, so I don't think I could ever be any different. I enjoy it.

Meh, it's not like he's baking it!! Go for it! I like baking cakes but themed ones I am not too good at it. I tried making Chomper the T rex (land before time)...tasted great but looked like a big blue mess!! Good luck with R2 D2...but you probably have the talent that I lack.

I am loving the Playschool celebrity covers! How good was Bernard Fanning really hoping they release all of them - more than happy to listen Hole In My Bucket if Hamish & Andy are performing it 😄

I am over my life right now - at least electricity is connected again for now though (apparently all my gas appliances also need electricity - learn something new every day even though it should have been obvious)

Trying to work out why a 40 + yr old woman posts photos of herself in poses you'd see in men's mags on Facebook? I just don't get it

Maybe for a feeling of empowerment.

Maybe because she loud and proud of who she is and wants the whole yo see it.

Maybe because it makes her feel good.

I am the sleep whisperer. Got to cuddle both kids to sleep. DS was first. He is so so big now but got to rock/cuddle. DD just got milk and passed out. Bliss!

It wasn't a nude handstand by any chance? Because DH's dentist did this today. I am not entirely sure I am comfortable with her being his dentist anymore...
