peeved off - apparently my idea of clean & my mothers are two entirely different things (I supposedly could have cleaned before she came )

    screw her

your house, your rules. and you made the effort to clean in the first place. it's really not her place to comment.

I'd be telling her if I wanted her opinion, i'd ask for it!

Same lol...my mum cleans the grout in her tiles for fun. Told me once that I don't know how to clean. My house is clean and tidy, it just doesn't look like a house out of a display village like hers.

I am feeling accomplished...whipped up a salmon noodle bake for a late lunch and have a chicken curry brewing in the slow cooker for dinner.

Feeling happy that I've found a pumpkin soup recipe my kids like. I love soup and they've always been ho hum about it.

Agree with @turquoisecoast. Or, if she doesn't like it, she can do the cleaning herself without whinging about it. Though that could open a whole other can of worms (seeing it as an invitation to go through your stuff maybe).

Kind of shocked. My neurotic cat (who went into hiding in my bedroom about 3 months ago) decided today was the day to come out of hiding. She even went to visit DS at bed time. She hates DS.
Also, managed to get DS to sleep without a tantrum, and before 7:30, even after he had an extra long nap today.

I'm also just plain exhausted. Thank goodness mum is coming to visit tomorrow. I have 3 days of help this week 😊

I am wishing i was 37wks already as this bay would be out of me. Standing, laying down, sitting and breathing are all so hard on my body now. My bestie has even noticed that from behind I've lost weight but baby is stacking it on. If there was a 110%percentile for height bubs would be in that range
