    Default Uterus Didelphys

Hi there, my name is Amy. I'm very new to this. In the last 12 months I discovered I have uterus didelphys (two uterus & two cervix) I also have cysts on my ovaries (not pocs) my gynochologist said my particular case was something she has never seen before and couldn't tell me if I had a lesser chance of falling pregnant naturally, that I would need to be trying for 12 months before doing tests.
I have been trying for only 4 months, but wanted to see if anyone else with uterus didelphys could shine some light for me and tell me their experiences of falling pregnant?

My aunt who is in her 60's had 2 uterus's. It was always a joke to her in the 70's & 80's. But she has 3 grown boys well there are men in their 30's now. So never say never. Have a look a American forums and websites you'll get more information I think on there then what you may get here. As for your cysts your gyno should be recommending a laporoscopy to remove them and to also see what else is going on

Hi Amy, I also have 2 uteruses and 2 cervixes. I fell pregnant my first month off the pill, had a miscarriage, then got pregnant again the next cycle. I had a C-section at 35 weeks and bub was small for age but otherwise fine. Throughout my pregnancy I had to see obstetricians at a bigger hospital than my local one and near the end I was on daily ctg scans and ultrasounds. I had seen a fertility specialist before trying to get pregnant, but he said all we could do was wait and see if I co
uld get pregnant, carry the baby etc which obviously turned out that I could. Hopefully it's the same for you
