I've literally just had a spoonful of Nutella to get through reading about it. I'm pretty excited, daunting to move with 2 under 2 but eyes on the prize (aka ricotta cake!) thanks ladies X

Five dock is beautiful! Very family friendly and lots of cafes and Italian pizzerias.

Fabulous, Olive Oil!! Even going out for a walk or a milkshake is a memorable event when you live there, and with Haberfield on your doorstep - authentic pizza for Sunday lunch, deli's etc, plus foreshore walk.

I used to live in Five Dock for 2 years and loved it. The local park is great for kids. There's also the bayrun which is a lovely flat walk around the water. The supermarket there is the best supermarket I've ever shopped at but this was 10 years ago. The only complaint I have is there's no trains nearby.

I'd be curious to know how much rent is there now. I rented in Garfield St in 2005/6 and was paying $300 week for a 3 bedroom house lol

Sounds lovely... I think the average rent per week is about $800.
