    Hey lovely ladies, just a quick update on my end. I had a late caesar yesterday because another baby decided to jump the queue and come early. LOL.

    Baby Jamie has arrived, weighing 2.89kg. He's having some difficulties with breathing so he's being monitored in the special nursery. Hopefully I will get to see him more today because I miss him so much!

    Here's a sneak peak. He's got a pretty impressive mop of hair!

    Will update you again when I can!

    Default Primary IVF Graduates - Beyond and Besides the BFP

    Hi all, just received BFP on my first cycle and am still in shock. What happens after my blood test on Monday? Do I see the FS? I'm seeing Nic at Primary in Melb. Do they refer me to an OB? Do I get a scan? Thank you! X

    @VanessaM congratulations !! ❤️
    After your blood test you will then have a viability scan at around 6-7 weeks the Primary will say goodbye to you. I'm in Sydney and didn't have a last appt with the FS, after the viability scan that was it. Others may have seen their FS, however we didn't. You will then need to see your GP to discuss your antenatal care, ie private obstetrician, public hospital midwife or shared care. At around 10 weeks you book into your local hospital. Your GP will go through and explain your options and give you the necessary referrals and also a timeline of appts required throughout your pregnancy xx

    Woohoo congrats! That's so exciting!! So very happy for you

    I was at Preston, got the call from the nurse to advise BFP at my beta blood test and to tell me to arrange a viability scan at my nearest Healthscan so it could be bulk billed (they gave me a date range to organise it in), once I'd booked it I let them know and they faxed the referral through for me. After the scan the nurse called me to advise everything looked great and who would I like my files sent to in order to take over my pregnancy care. I just got it sent to my GP who guided me in what to do from there as Primary didn't have any further involvement!

    Default Primary IVF Graduates - Beyond and Besides the BFP

    Thank you @ ABG79 and @onedaymaybebaby. By the way I changed my name as I got paranoid using my real name. Lol! Okay. Thing is I'm on Bondi Protocol for NKC and DQ match so I don't know whether to continue with that for 12 weeks, plus my gynaecologist (obstetrician) Dr Stan died suddenly about a month ago so I need to find someone else! I'm also at Preston.

    @ onedaymaybebaby, who did you have at Primary? Will I see the FS again before I'm discharged? I hope so! I really liked Nic. I need to find an OB who is up with the immune stuff. Any recommendations in Melbourne?
