I bought an easyio and some natural and greek sachets. Now I make the yoghurt from scratch using this method

    http://sustainablesuburbia.net/how-t...-yogurt-maker/

Variation 2 UHT milk, 2 spoons of easyio mix, 2 spoons of milk powder and shake it up. Makes it much cheaper to make yoghurt than a whole sachet each time.

I find my yoghurt started becoming runny as the weather got cooler so I leave the yoghurt longer and replace with boiling water every few hours.

Comes out nice and thick, not gritty at all.

When you say 2 spoons, what size are we talking? Does it so have the same flavour and thickness?

@Ngaiz I make half a litre at a time using tablespoon measures, it's got the measurements in that link I posted. The flavour and thickness vary on the time its in the easio and the temperature of the water. The thicker it sets the more tart the yoghurt. You can use left over yoghurt instead of the easio mix but I believe you can only do that a few times before having to use a new starter culture.
