I love old names, but there are some I think are terrible.

Dirk, Paula, Maureen, Beverley, Gilda, Clive, Donald, Keith, etc.

Then there are names where the negative associations will be too strong for it to ever make a comeback (Adolf)

I have met some little kids (under 5) with the following names:
    Donna
    Diane
    Lance
Each of them made me do a serious double take.

I've known a few Colleen and Trevor and Greg (born late 80's)
    I like Lynette!
My grandma's name is Dorothy I wish that would come back! The nickname Dottie is so cute!

Nothing against these names but I think these generational ones have passed:

    Cheryl
    Sharon
    Patricia
    Frank
    Bert
    Maude

Will there be many more Kylies or Belindas?
(Not bad names, just late 70s/early 80s names)
