I was induced for PE reasons too. Gel put in at about 11pm, and bub born by 6am! No pain relief, no drip etc. My midwife said labours with PE can be fast. I don't have another type of birth to compare it with, but it wasn't too bad (that i remember now at least!)

My waters were broken 2 out of my 3 labours. While I didn't find it painful it was very uncomfortable and the first time it made me vomit, which my ob told me happens alot. But it's over and done with pretty quickly.
I didn't have the drip but from waters being broke to delivery was only about 5 hours
