@Charlie74 and @Green lady, big hugs to you both.

I remember feeling this way before my FET. It was my only frosty and I was scared as all get-out to use it. In the end, fate decided for me - we missed ovulation (my wonky cycle saw me ovulate around CD9, lol) and were forced to put it back a month. Divine intervention maybe, because the lead up the following month was lovely and calm, and sure enough I got my BFP - a brief joy, yes, but a BFP none-the-less. With my most recent cycle in March I only had the one emby and it was transferred in at Day 3. I knew straight away it was a dud, and as soon as it went in thought "Well, nothing for it but to start looking at donor eggs."

Charlie, if you're not feeling it 100%, delay it a month. I think Green lady summed it up beautifully, when it's your last shot you're going to hesitate for fear of failure no matter what month you do it. But I do think you should be feeling prepared and ready before a transfer, so if you need the extra month just take it. At the end of the day a month won't make a scrap of difference anyway. If that precious emby is going to take (and pray God, it will!) it will take just as well a month later

Hi ladies, sorry I have been awol. Miss A has had a little hiccup in the form of a cpl of hernias. She needs to have an operation, but at the moment her surgeon won't do it because her red blood cell count is low (for his liking). He told me to put her on an iron supplement. We have done so, but it upsets her tummy no end and she hasn't been happy with me
Saw the gp yesterday and he is fuming as her iron stores were already super high (last bt showed 519 and max threshold is 200) so he is super worried about liver damage
So we had a bt yesterday and get results tmw.
This has just been a terrible time for us as the knowledge that she needs an op, we have to keep a super eye on the hernia and rush her to hospital if it strangles itself, and now the second guessing of which dr's instructions to follow!
We have stopped giving her the iron supplements as I'm so stressed we are damaging her liver.
I thought ivf was hard work navigating different dr's- this is the pits it's so much responsibility!

So I'm sorry I have missed all the bfp's and the bfn's. I have done a quick read through to catch up and I wanted to say congrats to @MissDa pupo is excellent and you're still in with a chance! @Tahli welcome back @faithhopellove congrats on bubs @Blossom74 congrats on finding your donor I knew it wouldn't take you long, I think I remember saying to you that we love you, of course a donor would too!

Hello and good luck to everyone else I'm following on as much as I can xxx

    hi ladies
    just catching up..
@Charlie74 go with your gut feeling and hold it off for the month if it means you can do it all with as minimal stress as possible. Thats what I would do. So jealous of Rhodes!!! You can still go to Wazza for the appointment and go with his plan if you need to, it won't matter whether its august or september to start a new thing. xx

@Caesardust could you work out the difference between booking changeable flights to booking them at last minute if you have to? Maybe you can see a travel agent and get them to give you a ball park figure on both options, that way you don't have to stress yourself out about that bit. The accomodation surely you can do last minute so I wouldnt be worrying about that bit either. Can your dp explain its a medical thing for you and its hard to lock in a date just yet..that way his boss might be more understanding and then you both won't have to stress! I know you must be feeling very overwhelmed by it all, sometimes just writing a list of all the things you have to do and your options can help shelve some of that and then you can see things more clearly. Big hugs, it'll all work out, it just feels crazy right now. Oh and as for these Drs who charge those kinds of sums of money, its frucked. They obviously hold themselves on one huge bloody pedestal, especially since you are dealing with a persons health!!! xxx

@Tahli hi lovely and nice to see you pop in!

Im madly trying to get everything we need to have our Skype appointment next week with the Canberra FS. Its exciting that its only a week away, and hopefully things will be all pretty straight forward with getting it happening!

@Chiefsgirl you poor things, it sounds scary. A friend of mines little girl had a couple of hernias too but they only found out at aged 2 I think. She had an op and is as good as gold now. I hope they can sort it all out soon for you. I don't think the stress ever ends does it!!! Big hugs xx

@Charlie74 I think if you have answered your own question. If you are feeling stressed about the timing now then it's definitely going to stress you when your closer to your FET.

@Caesardust you get your dates normally about 3 weeks before...they need to screen your donor close to when she will cycle as what if she contracts something between screening and cycling iykwim... it's one of the hard parts in my opinion, waiting to book flights and accommodation!

@Chiefsgirl - that's all a bit stressful for you. Hope things are resolved soon.

On my dental issue, FS said its best not to have dental work until the second trimester, so no filling replacement for me during the TWW. He said the risk with removal of mercury containing fillings is small but if I don't absolutely need the filling fixed then why do it. I'm not in any pain with it so hopefully that's doesn't change.

@Rhino - if I adhere to that article I shouldn't transfer my embryo at all as I have several fillings which are pretty old and likely Mercury containing amalgam and according to that every time I chew poisonous Mercury vapours are being released. Now I'm really stressed.
