I'm sorry you're disappointed hon. Big hugs for you. It only takes one, so I'm hoping one of those two is your golden egg

OK, my humble opinion for what it's worth....

I think there can be a lot of give in HCG numbers. My HCG got to 45,000 and I miscarried. I know of some ladies who had slow starting HCG levels who went on to have healthy babies.

A better indicator at this early stage is doubling rates. If you double your HCG every 48 hours it is a good sign.

So I'd say, that whilst I can appreciate you would like to see a higher number, wait on the results of the next BT and go from there. If there is a good rise you can feel a little more confident about it, and if it's not risen much you can discuss it with your FS.

Big hugs hon, it's a hard road

    congrats @tegs26. that's a strong heartbeat for 6weeks

sorry there's only 2 @MissDa, but that's double your natural try so I think you're still in with a chance. and I think sometimes the lower numbers mean higher quality which is what you want. I have my fingers crossed for you
@kylie764 yes, I think the doubling rates will give you a better idea until your far enough along to have scans. it's a nervewracking time but congrats on your BFP!

    hi to everyone

Oh Sh!t @MissDa that's so frustrating for you, are the docs saying anything as to why this is happening? Does your donor have kids of her own? I'm really sorry this has to be so bloody stressful, crossing everything for you that they quality will be awesome.xx

@Caesardust I'm pleased for you that you've come to the decision to do de! I think it takes a while to mourn the loss of your own eggs, I'm still going through it too, every now and then it hits me but I'm more excited about a greater chance of a baby so I'm just trying to look forward as much as possible. hopefully there will be a bunch of us cycling together in August! Xx

@tegs26 congratulations lovely! That's amazing news, that's measuring spot on isn't it, just thinking you and I had the same epu date. Enjoy being up the duff!

@BlondeinBrisvegas bloody hell luv! when it rains it pours, maybe the third thing was steam coming out of your ears with all this happening!! Buy a lottery ticket! No. 3 could be that you're gonna win big..and share it amongst all of us old ladies

ive just finished an after work rant to poor DH.. I think I've lost the ability to tolerate work Sh!t..god I wish I had lots of money and didn't need to go to work for someone else..but alas I got the GENEA cycle fees today and looks like I'm going back to work after all

Thanks for all your kind words and support everyone, DP and I are not on good terms. He said he is sick of my "moody ****" that goes on for weeks after each failed cycle. I feel totally alone, well except for all you lovely ladies.
I know it will be 0 fert tomorrow, I can feel it coming.

Aww jeez @MissDa you're having such a frucking rough time, I'm really sorry this is happening. Tell dp to deal with it, crikey, what a thing to say right now. Do you have someone else close who you talk to about all this stuff? I hope you're ok, we're all here in any case

it's a shame you can't get your DP to jab himself full of hormones and disappointment for failed cycles & see how he likes it. I really hope this cycle is your successful one

    @MissDa

I think it's real challenge for the husbands . Mine has been great through multiple failed ivf's , multiple miscarriages , watching me through all the medication dramas , interrupted life with constant bleeding , pain , feeling unwell . He said the other night after 6 years of trying that it's like life has been on complete hold . Our hubbies are only humans & have their frail moments to . They get as frustrated as we do , minus the meds lol . Hang in there , keep your eye on the prize & try to be positive . It will be worth it in the long run . When we do this we have to be strong for ourselves our families & for our future bubba - not fair but the reality damn it !
