Hi there, for everyday use i love Nivea dark blue pump pack for dry to very dry skin. I put it on after shower plus each time i wash my hands. I have one at work and one at home. I agree crabtree and evelyn is lovely for a treat- Summer Hill flavour is nice.

Black and gold peanut oil. My ex was a plaster (probably still is) and all of his uncles, brother and father in the same trade. They all had the most beautiful soft hands that were never dry or caloused, and there was always the peanut oil at the laundry sink for when they came home.

Default Dry hands! Recommend a hand cream?

Gaia baby lotion, it's used to prevent nappy rash, goes in over a few min...awesome. ( some other bum creams ok too) Palmers cocoa butter concentrate cream is good too, less occlusive. I use both depending on if I'm happy to wait a couple of min to go back to 'life'.... Steroid cream is great for me too, since part of my issues are dt dry eczema, my hands will bleed.

I swear by this hand cream- "Dui'it tough hands." I work in health care, and constant hand washing and gloves mean dry and cracked, painful skin. This is the only hand cream that works for me, a week of using it and my 'man hands' are supple again. It's an ugly tube, and the smell is so so, but it's brilliant for tough skin!
I am a Hand cream addict, love Crabtree etc, but always have a tube of this in my bag as well.

I an just about out of my hand cream, which is a Body Shop 'Almond hand & nail' cream. It works a treat on my chronically dry, chaffed hands (I'm a bit of a hand washer). Can be a bit on the greasy side, but it does penetrate in unlike others that can be rich.

I also carry a tube of Nivea's 'Anti-age' handcream in my handbag to slather on when needed. It has Q10 and UV filters in it apparently.
