    Default Ovulation pain...anyone else?

The last few cycles ive had terrible ovulation pain...well that's what I think it is. It happens a few weeks before my period is due but lasts a few days. Anyone have this?

I have had this the last few days only on my right side so wondered if its ovulation. It's quite painful!

When I got pregnant with my daughter I had horrible ovulation pains but it lasted a few hours, not days.

I have pco so always used to get stabbing ovary pain on ovulation.

After my 2nd bub I've been getting bad cramping, worse than period pain, for about 4-8 hours when I ovulate. I need to take naprogesic for it.

I did a big Google when it started and it is not uncommon. One theory is the fluid released when the egg ruptures out irritates the tubes etc.

I get terrible ovulation pain. I can definitely feel it. Along with some other nasty symptoms too.
It's awful. I've had it for years. I take the pill note to try and stop symptoms. I have endometriosis.

@Tinkers I am the same as @Tamtam I get bad pain and very uncomfortable on a natural cycle during ovulation. Noticeably more so when I ov on my left side. I have been through IVF and I didn't experience that same pain which was weird considering I had multiple follicles on each side during stimming. My Ob said its a sign you have a follicle about to burst and is ripe. I too have taken panadol for ovulation. Sometimes that is way more painful than af pain..

I do though I have a large cyst on one of my ovaries which has to be removed soon so fingers crossed it stops the pain.
Though after I had my son I got period pain for the first time ever then 6 years later I got a large cyst on my ovarie.
    So definitely understand the pain.

Have you seen a gynecologist about it do you have any bad symptoms?

I get it too. There's even a word for it in German - "Mittelshmerz" (middle pain, in the middle of the cycle). It lasts 1-2 days for me.

I get it bad! Sometimes I can't move because of it.
