    Default Squat Challenge Anyone?

    I know I could take a cue from the net and do one of those crazy squat challenges but I tried that before and couldn't walk for two days
    I know I won't keep it up if there's pain involved.
    I don't mind effort but not pain when I've kids to run after.

    As I'm getting ZERO exercise at the minute I was thinking of a gentle approach and keeping track in here will keep me honest.

    Planning on Starting on Monday next (30th)
    Starting with 30 squats a day for the first week and maybe 50 a day for the second week then reassess from there?

    Anyone care to join me?
    You can start at any level you like, it's not a competition.

    I'll give it a go. I do no exercise and have NO motivation. Perhaps this will help.

    Yeah I found that to be too hard, atomicmama.
    I was so stiff after a few days that even driving was uncomfortable
    I think it started at 50 and increased fairly rapidly.
    I'd rather do something that I know I will continue.
    Great!
    We'll meet up in here with 30 squats done on the 30th
    I'm going to write it on my fridge.
    You have no idea how many times I've attempted to start doing this on my own.
    Last week I did 15 squats, just to see if I could. Easy.
    I could have done more but the divil on my shoulder made me go - Ah that's grand, now I'll start that next week! ???
    Cop out!

    Just did a heap in the backyard, I don't know how many exactly - probably 4 x10 plus 4 X 20 second pulses. And lunges each leg, including pulses, similar amount - all with babe in arms.

    Couldn't get to the gym this morning as DS1 is sick so backyard squats it is!
