    Etc..

    This mornings efforts with ds1. At least ds2 is enjoying eating them as ds1 refuses to even try them. I just give up with him!!!

    Try cooking them a little less. My rule of thumb (as I only have a toaster oven) is as soon a I can smell them I check them. Don't let them go golden brown.
    This is my last batch. They are Mars bar flavoured.

    Oh they taste lovely he's just the worst eater on the planet. He ate a good few spoonfuls of raw dough before announcing that he didn't like it. But I'll try cooking a bit less next time. I've still got some dough left over to try in a few days.

    Yep I agree that recipe is awesome but def better slightly undercooked

    A stick of butter - American concept - is 113g (1/4 of a pound) as PP mentioned just round up to 125g as butter here is either 250g or 500g

    Success! DS helped knead and roll the dough, and cut out the shapes. He was doing a great job of putting the sprinkles on until he discovered he could just eat them out of the bowl Refused to taste them with frosting and sprinkles on for some reason, but loved the plain biscuits!
