Default OMG what have my kids done!!

So I was checking emails for 10 minutes and my 4 year old just came in and she has CUT OFF ALL HER HAIR!!!!! And her little sister's hair too!!

Preschool photos are next week - what am I going to do? It's really really short and so uneven. Should I just clip it into a buzz cut? They look like a pair of boys...DH is going to freak out....

    Any suggestions greatly appreciated.

I would say dont try to fix it yourself. Definitely take them both to a good hairdresser & see what they can do. Often they can do a cute pixie cut or bob, its amazing what they can do to fix a bad hair situation.

Default OMG what have my kids done!!

Omg id be so cranky! Dont do anything just yet wait till youve had a chance to think.

My DD2 cut herself a micro fringe a few months ago and i couldnt look at her without getting cranky for a few days.

When youre ready take them to a hairdresser and discuss options

Thanks everyone, hairdresser it is. There isn't enough hair to really do anything on the top (she looks like it's been shaved for an operation or something), but I'm sure they can do something with the sides.

I'm somewhere in between furious and thinking it's hilarious. We were just at the supermarket and I felt so self conscious! I put a hat on DD2 - her hair isn't so bad. Maybe I should get DD1 a nice hat too.

I rang DH to prepare him, and he was trying not to laugh, so at least I don't think he'll be angry. I don't know what he'll say when he actually sees the two little bald nuts though!

Honestly, I would just laugh and be sure to hide the scissors better. They're small children, it's not like they need to look professional for their jobs or anything, I'd just let them enjoy their ridiculous hair

    Ah geez!

Agree with others - take them to the hairdresser and let them work some magic

You will all reflect on this when they're older and laugh
