Yippee! That is brilliant news @greenlady. What grade is it? Are you going to get a scratch? So exciting! You won't have to pretend happy at your weekend social events!

@Tahli do you have any recourse in regards to the cancelled transfer? It was appallingly managed and unfairly left you out of pocket. I'd have thought a formal complaint was the least they should expect and I'd wonder about some sort of recompense? I think with IVF there is an attitude of no responsibility amongst many FSs, but obviously the lining is not the clinic's requirement and that FS should be called to account. For both her management of the situation and her medical dictates.

@Gagingi - I didn't ask the grade - intentionally - I just don't want to know since it's my only one and I don't want to stress about the grade. All I know is that it was a day 6 fully hatched blast when it was biopsied. Still have to talk to my FS about when to transfer. I want to get my house in order as best I can re lining etc as this is my only shot at the title!

I think Four Corners on the ABC next week is doing a feature on IVF, which I intend to watch.
Thanks Green lady I was naive @ the time, then when my old fs made a comment to me in front of my dh not to go on forums as I would start reading things like nkc etc.& the forums would make me depressed as its mostly a bunch of disgruntled women who haven't had any success who posts on forums to vent
After she said that, I signed up on here & started doing my research.I feel so stupid listening to her, all the $ & time spent with 0 to show for it.Anyhoo not to worry I'm so glad I got a second opinion & my fs believes in everything I do, even if I don't get pregnant through him at least I know I did everything I could.I'll be watching Four Corners next wk tx for that

@skye76 I was watching a documentary earlier on the use of exercise to help treat cancer, where the mechanism of change/treatment is natural killer cells. Exercise increases the number of NKC which then go after the cancer. As I was watching I thought no wonder embryos have issues if NKCs turn on them, as a tiny little embie is much weaker than a malignant cancer.

It's awful how some FSs bag the forums. They are obviously threatened by them. Wazza always says he learns stuff from patients and the forums. A much healthier approach!

    Default IVF over 40 #32

Hi ladies. I'm not sure you remember but I was asked to be interviewed regarding ivf. I wasn't selected as I asked to be anonymous but I can see this is going to stir up a lot of stuff https://www.facebook.com/abc4corners...3683540140954/

    Not sure when it's airing.
