    We took my them 4 month old away and just packed our electric steriliser.
    What about the medela steam bags? I'm not sure if they would be big enough or if they're too expensive or if you can reuse them?
    I still steralise his stuff now at 13.5 months... but if we went away i wouldn't bother just wash in hot soapy water. Rinse off in cold. Float in hot water (with kettle boiled water added too)

    While it is a waste of time to sterilise the bottle for a 6 month old,
    you still might want to boil the water before mixing the formulae.

    The microwave sterilising bags are easy to use and portable.
    Pigeon brand make them too
