    I agree with you. I still love our pup to bits, and I love seeing him with DS. They are going to be best friends in a few years, and already have a lovely food sharing relationship. DS feeds the dog from his highchair - it's adorable!

    As deeply as I love my dog, it's a different love to my son, but I would run into traffic to save either one of them.

    I guess what I meant it's a different love, but that is not to discount it.
