Default Do you have and use the entertainment book 2016

Just wondering if it's worth $65, as a family with young ones would it be any good?

Definitely. I buy one each year and DH and I make the $65 back really easily. There are heaps of things in there for kids - mini golf, indoor play centres etc plus loads of food places, restaurants and the like for some more adult time together.

I should add that DH and I have the digital membership which means we each have the app on our phones and we can use the vouchers independent of each other. Means we don't have to rely on either physically going through the book and pulling out the voucher in preparation or being in the vicinity of the actual book.

We're trying it for the first time this year as we realise we need to do more with the kids. So far we've saved $48 between groceries and out and abouts. Ours was $60, so another $12 and we'll start going into the positives.

I should add - so far we haven't done anything extra that we wouldn't have paid for before anyway. So we haven't gone out of our way to 'save'.

And you only use the voucher once and that's it? I think it's worth a go. Hubby can't see that.

Yep. But they do have extra deals and things on their website - such as accommodation, boxes of wine, other random deals throughout the year. The latest email I got was something like 45% off accommodation at places like Peppers/Mantra etc, reduced price Gold Class movie vouchers.

I bought one last year. Every month I bought $400 woolworths vouchers for $380. So with that alone I saved $240 over the year.
I also used the 25% off ticket for the zoo and a couple of restaurant vouchers
