Default Sophie Leong, Jason Chew, Peter Tang or Jean Woo at Mitcham Private?

    Hi,

I've just found out I'm pregnant and due at the beginning of Jan 2017. After a bad experience going through the public system with my first baby I have my mind set on Mitcham private this time.

I'm really struggling to decide on an obstetrician though and wandering if anyone has had any experience or heard any feedback on the following obstetricians:
    • Sophie Leong
    • Jason Chew
    • Peter Tang
    • Jean Woo

I have seen Jason Chew with my last pregnancy, although it was only briefly as I miscarried at 10 weeks. He was lovely, but I just feel like I might be more comfortable with a female.
Feeling comfortable with whoever I choose is really important to me. After a rough first pregnancy and labour as well as a couple of miscarriages, someone who can put me at ease (whilst also being realistic) is high on my priority list.
I have booked an appointment with Sophie Leong as I know she books out quickly and I didn't want to miss out, although I've heard some mixed reviews. I have heard that she can be not so pleasant at times.
I've read some great things about Peter Tang. It's just the male vs female thing I'm not sure about.
Jean Woo I haven't really seen or heard anything about. Has anyone had any experience with her?

Any feedback would be appreciated so much

    Hey
I am pregnant with my 1st and also have my mind set on Mitcham Private.
I'm wondering how you've gone on researching these obstetricians?
I'm due in March, so am in the process now of organising my first scans.
I am tossing up between Peter Tang & Suresh John.... But still very much open to any advice or opinions.
I hope your pregnancy is going well still, congratulations
