Kylie - I am so sorry for your MC. That is so tough after all your scans. It just doesn't seem fair.

Canuck wow you have had bad luck. Surely your turn is around the corner. I truly hope it works for you soon xx

    Default Bad Luck

@Luca, you are very prescient. My luck just gets worse and worse. I will not be doing a cycle as my annual mammogram came back with irregularities (sorry TMI?), the ultrasound showed one cyst and one non-cyst (cysts are good so non-cysts are not good apparently). Instead of trying this month, I will having ultrasounds on my upper body (it was getting jealous of all the ultrasounds down below). Dr. Google is working overtime and I am not letting myself worry yet. I should have the biopsy in the next few weeks and then see what happens next (lightning strike?). @Tahli, my embryos did thaw well and @ECM1981 my doctor here said the embryos thawed well and they looked good. Once I sort everything out I may ask Dr. Matabese for her opinion. And right now praying for a miracle is about all I can do. @MrsErinR I will be taking this time to meet with another doctor. @Petulia Thanks for all the info. DQ Alpha Matching and gene assay are new to me.
I am overwhelmed by the support and knowledge from this group. While I wouldn't wish this journey on anyone, I am glad there are others on the road with me.
PS: All along I have been wondering about the impact of the fertility drugs on my body. My GP has mentioned increased risk of breast cancer. I have been postponing my physicals as I have been cycling. I am not sure how things work in Australia, but if you have been doing this for a while or you are over 40 make the time for your mammogram.

@Canuck1 oh my goodness im sorry for this bad luck you are getting. Did you notice lumps or pain or was it a general check up? I too worry about the effects of pumping hormones into us constantly. I hope you get the all clear and can put it all behind you. I wll be praying for you and am sending you lots of love. Its great to read thay your embryos thaw well, they sound nice and strong. Always here for you xxx

I didn't notice any lumps and my GP did not find it in her manual check. It was annual mammogram (get them ladies), followed by an ultrasound. I should have a biopsy some time next week.
Thanks so much for your prayers and kind thoughts @ECM1981. I hope I get the all clear soon and can put it all behind me too.

@Canuck1 Golly gosh. I'm really hoping your biopsy goes well. Please let us know how you get on won't you. We're all here for you. I'm 41 and just trust my gps examination. I hadn't thought to get a mammogram. I hope you have some good real life support around you. You'll be in my thoughts, xx.

Little update - our transfer went very well yesterday. Two very good looking embryos popped in place. Waiting to find out how many frozen. Flying home tomorrow night. I miss my bed.

I've been worrying about the enormous amounts of progesterone they are pumping into me too with no concern for the future. The prednisolone too. Hoping it's absolutely nothing Please keep us updated

Our transfer went very well. Was really interesting to watch the lab technician pop the embryos in the tube. Dr LeRoux was lovely. Two were popped into place and 11 have been frozen. I'm feeling fine. DH is a pro at the injections and we are preparing to fly home tonight. Will schedule our blood test for the 15th. It's the day after my birthday and also the day we go pickup our new fur baby. Hopefully it's an awesome day.
