Email Rikki @ sunshine. We worked with her for our cycles and she was great! I had very strict timeframes to work with and she helped us find a donor that was both suitable and available. The bonus of course was that she was also a stellar donor! Rikki recommended her to us as she was returning after a three month break and her profile hadn't been put back up on the website yet.

You'll find some will have had less than ideal experiences with some agencies while others have loved the same agency. They are all much of a muchness really

    Sunshine
    ababysa
    edsa
    Nurture
    Giftovlife
    Baby2mom are the reputable ones

I've used ababysa and Sunshine - ababysa were much more attentive to me, Sunshine were fine but not as warm and fuzzy if you know what I mean.

I was nervous about it but was happy in a sense that I would get an idea of how she would respond to the treatment. I should have prepared a back-up plan.

We"re with aBabySA. I have no idea of their track record but we"ve been very happy with their communication and with our donor of course, though we're just started the treatment protocol.

@Offshorechick, we found out donor through sunshine and I found them pretty good to deal with. I also had a lot of communication with ababysa and they also had fabulous communication.
What has happened with your donor is my nightmare! We've been told ours has a good track record, generally getting 12-14 eggs and usually approx 5 blasts but my husband has some sperm issues as well as my egg issues so I'm really worried we may not get good enough ones. Even though all the FS said good eggs will overcome the sperm issue.

In regards to choosing a donor.. It is a good idea to ask how many eggs the donor previously got and how many blasts. I only asked about eggs, with mine producing 12 eggs.. But only 2 blasts (great quality though) . Dr H said this was below average for egg donors. I suggest if you find a donor that has had previous cycles at cfc.. Ask yr dr for their opinion. This is yr best chance of getting a clear picture of yr donors suitability. Given that.. I transferred 1 embie on my first FET with a bfn, but number 2 has resulted in s bfp. Would have been nice to have s few more as backups.

I have had two lovely women from two different agencies working thru their lists for me. Found 1 I was happy with only to find out 24 hours later that she's unable to donate as she's been in a terrible car accident. Found another so now need to wait for her tests. Can't describe how many knots my stomach is in.
