Quick question? When they do a day 5 embryo transfer do they count day 1 as the day of egg retrieval or the day after? Just got my treatment plan and trying to work out approximate dates while we are there.
Very excited! Now I can begin booking things :-) Will have first app on July 4th.
Anyone else going to be around then?

@Tahli im just in getting intralipids and have had a bit of a chance to read through the other thread, hows the stress levels going? Did you get my email the other week? Hope all is going ok. Sounds like CFC are being a bit dickish!! Im quite dissapointed this cycle with the organisation of my nurse, its pretty poor and im having to email her many times to get answers. @Canuck1 i hope thats your signature-just wondering if you could msg me again about who you used for shipping frozen embryos.
Has anyone else got experience in couriering frozen embryos from country to country? Xx

Very excited for you to have your dates confirmed. We have changed to go with Dr Le Roux so hopefully our dates there won't change much more than what we had planned. Hoping to be there around 29th June. Itching to get my plan so I can start booking stuff. Where are you looking at staying?

@ECM1981 Enjoy chilling out while you have your eggy soy cocktail! Uhm, yeah, stress levels. I'm currently eating Milo out of a tin. I think that says it all.
@ferngirl 7 days to go! I hope you're feeling much better today.
@HB13 Thanks for the good wishes.

@ECM1981 - I had a great experience with Kynisi: http://www.kynisi.com. Professional and dealt with problems (like grumpy Canadian embryologists). They do a lot of work with CFC.
There are some blogs which diss them but my suspicion is that they are written by their competition.
Do not use cryozoom. I had a terrible experience with them. They overpromised and vanished when the time came to ship.

I've transferred from Dr Matebese to Dr Heylen. I wasn't happy with the response rate from Dr Matebese's nurse and/or the doctor's suggestion to not worry about using clexane. I feel much more reassured already. DR Heylen responded very quickly to my email and agrees with additional immune treatment.
At this stage, looks like I'll be heading to Cape Town around July 13.
