could you make it 2 months out so then you have a month to go on the pill/whatever it is to control the dates/timing. the clinic should be able to send out a plan?

@winsor I guess I could do that. Clever thinking. On one of my CFC cycles I went on the pill for about 6 days, came off it and got AF. Would that work now though...right where I am in my 'cycle'?

I'm not really sure. I think they put me on something like that for the long down reg cycle. but iirc it matched my regular cycle pretty closely anyway. (so maybe it wasn't the pill). I think your FS or nurses would be able to work it out though

I *think* I started the pill/cycle on day 19 if that helps. so work out your ov date and add 5 days to when you start the pill? (check with FS/clinic though in case I'm wrong)

@Tahli, I'd give it 2 months - you don't need more stress in 4 weeks. I would email Dr Le Roux and ask him point blank if he would have done the same thing given the same circumstances? Is it a clinic wide protocol?
What would they have done if you were actually there?

Holy sh!t @Tahli. I actually held my head and said what the **** when I read that. Winsors suggestions sound good. My cycles were always strictly controlled using the pill. Man, what a nightmare you poor thing.

Not sure about the ovulation thing. @BlondeinBrisvegas are you at home?

I've just been through my notes from my CFC fresh cycle. On day 4 I started the OCP, stayed on it for only 6 days (to sync up with my EDs cycle), came off it and got AF 4 days later.
@emski72 Unfortunately I have to plan dates around long weekends due to a lack of childcare. There's one in 4 weeks. Otherwise the next one isn't until September.
If they were still open yesterday I definitely would have demanded a second opinion from Dr LR. I'm not sure if he would have wanted to contradict Dr M though. My FN had stated previously 6mm was Dr W's minimum.
Dr M gave me the option to rescan next Wednesday, the day before my flight departure. If I didn't reach a satisfactory measurement then they'd cancel the cycle, which would mean I would have completely lost my flight and accommodation money. My lining wasn't going to reach 7mm so I had no choice but to cancel the cycle. And I had no way to plead my case as they were closed.
