Wow, May did fill up! So glad you're on top of it BiBV. I'm so exhausted I told the midwife I was going along ok for an old girl until now. She just laughed and said she delivered a baby on the weekend for a 52 year old. Apparently I am a spring chicken (and normal). There's plenty of time for babies yet girls.

@Charlie74 Please ring your insurance company as you *should* report all accidents, you can let them know your not sure if you are going to claim on your insurance, and explain the situation, at least they will then know of the accident.

if you do decide to claim and your fully comprehensive, and not at fault you wont need to pay the excess the insurance company will do all the chasing for you.

It sounds like your neighbor is trying to pull a fast one on you.

Thanks @BlondeinBrisvegas, luckily no call so far!! Nerve wracking. I just popped a 5mg Valium to trial my reaction for tomorrow. My FS told me to try it to see if I need 5 or 10. I could use it right now so happy to trial it. I'm off for a massage next to chill me further.... I just wish it was midday tomorrow and I have the outcome so this torture is over and then hopefully on to the next hurdle of the 2ww torture...

    Hi,

    *pregnancy and miscarriage mentioned*

I hope I don't offend anyone, this post is a response to @faithhopeandlove about the over 40's bfp thread. This may be long.

I am 43, was ttc 8years for my ds who was born in 9/2015. I was refused IVF by multiple dr's as I am fat, low amh and have had multiple miscarriages. DS was my tenth pregnancy and a natural conception over new year of 2015. I took prednilisone and progesterone to avoid miscarriage with him. I have previously had IUI with an FS in BNE and OI and IUI with another FC in ACT and was just gearing up for a new OI IUI cycle, doing cycle tracking with trigger this cycle.

For ttc, I fit no category in any Australian forum. I like to read yours and see how you are all going but I don't fit, so don't post.

Yesterday, my bt has received a result of HCG do 4.4 and P4 of 39, this was 10 dpo. At 8dpo the bt had no HCG, p4 was 69 and e2 was 500. I have been put on 3x200mg oripro pesseries and 3x 5mg presnisolone. I am most likely heading for another miscarriage but would love to talk to other women over 40 ttc or pregnant. I am having a hard time.

    This is my history:

    02/2007 - first miscarriage @ 8weeks 1day, blighted ovum, discovery of 2 fibroids 3x5cm & 5x3cm. High blood pressure during pregnancy.

10/2007 - suspected pcos, 37day cycles (usually 35), bleeding from ovulation to period. Diabetes 2hr test result 10. Metformin 500mg.

6/2008 - fertility specialist canberra - cycle tracking and scan confirmed ovulation. 2 appointments.

    8?/2008 - Second miscarriage @ 6weeks 1day.

10?/2008 - Fertility Specialist brisbane, pcos diagnosis discarded, GP agreed. Stayed on metformin. Ongoing treatment til 4/2011, cycle tracking, iui (4?)

    3/2009 - Naturopath ongoing treatment ( gap in treatment from April 2011 - September 2012) - Brisbane.

    5/2009 - Diagnostic hysteroscopy & d&c, fibroids intramural.

    7/2009 - Cycle shortened 28-29days.

    10/2009 - Third miscarriage 5 weeks 1 day

?metformin 2000mg (not sure of date)

2/2011 - Took myself off metformin.

    4/2011 - 4th? Iui resulted in pregnancy.

    5/2011 - Fourth miscarriage 5 weeks 1day (iui)

    6/2011 - Fifth miscarriage 5 weeks 2days.

    7/2011 - Sixth miscarriage 5 weeks 1 day.

04/2012 - Seventh miscarriage 9weeks 1day. Product of conception tested, no issues. High blood pressure during pregnancy, medicated aldopa? Left hip problem (sacroiliac something syatica) - physio.

05/2012 -obstetrician - ongoing treatment Canberra.

    09/2012 - consulting Naturopath again.

    03/2013 - Eighth loss - missed miscarriage d&c 13weeks 1day. Baby had t21 & suspected heart/bowel issues. 3x5mg prednisone & 2x200mg progesterone during pregnancy.

08/2013 - Ninth miscarriage. LMP 06/2013. Hemorrhage 07/2013, hematoma found & sack with yolk. Scan 8weeks2days, irregular sack, suspected blighted ovum. Scan just after 10weeks confirmed blighted ovum. D&c 08/2013 at approx 11weeks. 3x5mg prednisone & 2x200mg progesterone during pregnancy.

    09/2013 - began acupuncture

02/2014 - new FS canberra, suggested OI with IUI. 6 cycles all up, no bfp's.

09/1015 - natural conception 01/2015 resulting in DS. 3x5mg prednisone & 2x200mg progesterone 14 weeks. 20 hrs labour after water broke, face presentation, emergency Caesar 1.7 lyrics blood loss and 2 transfusions. 2 true knots found in cord.

04/2016 - new FS canberra, planned/plan OI with IUI next cycle.

05/2016 - dodgy bfp - not confirmed viable.

    Once again, I hope I don't offend.

@Deskar Welcome to the thread Luv. 👋

You haven't offended at all!! Unfortunately many of the Lovelies here will be able to relate to you having suffered MC's themselves. I'm sorry you've had to go through so many (((Hugs))).

What kind of testing have you had done to try to find a cause?? Have you had extensive Immune testing?? How about your oven checked for fibroids, polyps, endo etc??

Something's going on there Luv as to why this keeps happening. Has your partner/husband(if you have one) had his sperm analysed for abnormalities such as balanced translocations for eg??
