Is anyone else having trouble posting? I keep getting redirected to the log-in screen when I hit 'post.'

I actually spoke to 5 donors in total during my time but due to logistical reasons we were not a match. Two, for example, were from New Zealand which means there would be no MC rebate. Our finances don't stretch to that.

One was in Melbourne but was not ready to donate yet, and one was what I would call a perfect match but she couldn't cycle for us as she had met her family limit in NSW and we couldn't afford to cycle in QLD.

So it can, and does happen. I was very lucky to have met some people along the way who really guided me through. Our own Bongley was a huge inspiration, and I became (and still am) very close friends with one of the lovely Admin girls. Her advice was invaluable and in her I have a friend for life.

If it's something you're interested in I would definitely recommend it
I'm glad it's not just me that spoke to a few potential donors! FWIW it took me 4 months to find my donor on EDA. Blossom has been very active and incredibly supportive on the site and on the FB page so I'm not surprised she got snapped up quickly

I also joined Egg Donor Angels and their facebook group. They seem to have some success at matching people too but it's not as comprehensive as egg donation australia. There is a bit of squabbling between the groups at times but I just ignore that

I think there was another site, 'aussie egg donors' that I tried to join but only got registered after I found my donor so I don't know anything about that group.

And now with the travelling Known Donors and SA/CT there are a fair few options

    So I'm having computer issues

I am posting this from the husband's computer but mine seems to be playing up.

If I go to reply to a post, it diverts me back to log-in, and then instead of posting after I've entered my password it just does....nothing!

I've had the same issue on the EDA site too, so I'll have to get to the bottom of it - and soon!

Anyway, just wanted to let you all know I'm away for business tomorrow and won't be back until late Wednesday. If I can get back on here before then all good, if not - I'll see you then!

Thanks hon, you're too kind. TBH if it weren't for work being so quiet I never would have been able to be so active on EDA this past month or so. I really do feel that being a constant presence on both the forum and the FB page helped immensely.

Now if only my computer would co-operate, lol.

Seems to be working ok on BH now though.

    Off to test EDA

    @Tahli
and @Maxwellsmum good luck to you both for today
@Blossom74 oh my god!! I am so happy for you and DH!!!!!! Best mothers day present ever. When do you think she can cycle for you?

@Bib I don't know how they work it out, I was just told the day of the BT it was 4 weeks and I've just gone from that I guess. So today is either 6+3 or 6+5. Either way, I should be able to see SOMETHING on Friday!!
