She might have frozen her own eggs when she was younger? I just think Michael was so into the whole surrogacy thing that she would have been aware of her options and had the money to bank some eggs... Otherwise you'd think it has to be DE. Wazza did have one patient at 50 have her own and said he wouldn't have believed it if she wasn't his patient - she'd had other kid/s very late 40s though.

I've read of a woman here in Aus who got Preggo at 50 with her OE and it was a natural conception too She'd been trying for years earlier and done some ART etc to no avail and then suddenly years later BOOM!!! She said she thought when AF went MIA it was Menopause starting. She had a little boy who was perfectly fine from memory. 60 Minutes might have even covered it or one of those current affair type shows???

I reckon Janet Jackson has gone DE myself not that it matters. Good luck to her!!!

Speaking of Wazza...I remember him telling me that if it was my old eggs with younger sperm or the Ex's older sperm with younger eggs he could almost guarantee to get me pregnant so @Blossom74 with younger donor eggs you're sure to get embies to transfer/freeze and give you a BFFP!!!!

I'd not had brandy until our last transfer and then had a good nip or three mixed with the Valium. It packed a punch. I wasn't fall over tipsy, but felt very warm and uninhibited. DH has seen me tipsy (or more) plenty of times, but this was different. I more had verbal diarrhea and was perhaps saying things a bit too loudly, about other patrons, at our celebratory lunch. Then came home and had the best snooze. Thinking about it, @Blossom74, it would be the perfect mix for obligatory putting out. Otherwise having had a migraine you could go with a headache. Fingers crossed your head settles and that doughy feeling goes away.

I hope you have a brilliant time tomorrow - not to think about IVF, what bliss!

Ok..here's a link to the woman I was posting about earlier. I buggered up the details a bit (mixed her up with another woman from o/seas). Her hubby had low sperm count and she was too old to start IVF etc, etc.....

God thats amazing! 75-85% chance of miscarriage too

Virginia Trioli from ABC breakfast got pregnant naturally in her late forties, think she was 47. First child too. Theres always a miracle story out there - when you think of that woman who had the quintuplets naturally, it just seems so crazy that thats even possible. Wonder if she has PCOS to release so many eggs

I am now classed as 6 weeks I think but not sure how many dpo that is (maybe 30, I'm not sure. Transfer was 11 April).
I was okay until she said 'we'll know more once you have the scan and they do the measurements and look at the heartbeart'.....know more what? As in there might be more than one or there might be something wrong with it. I hate my over analysing brain
I'm wondering if you are further along than 6 weeks? We had our ET 14 April and I'm 6 weeks tomorrow. I have my 7 week scan next Friday (as they don't do them on Saturday). I'd calculated from an online calculator that I was 6 weeks today (based on FET date), but FS's receptionist counted first 2 weeks as the day I started progesterone (which was 6 days before FET). So that makes tomorrow 6 weeks. Either way your numbers are impressive!

Prob too late to change it now anyway. You're right, i guess day 4 or day 5 it won't make too much difference. Hopefully it makes it that far!!!
@tuxcat for a beautiful blast on day 5. I know Wazza is adamant that if it doesn't make it to say 5 in the dish, it wouldn't have in the mum. It also gives your body an extra day to settle ready for the transfer. Exciting times!
