@gorgeousgeorge that's great he's picked two for you! I would do wedding photos too! That's great Greece is getting lots of pregnancies. Follicle scan on Friday. I'm not sure if I'll go ahead with a cycle or not, new doc seems to think I may have residual hormones left over from last month which may stop this one from going ahead..I just have to hope that's not the case. Don't worry about jumping into the thread, we're all nice!! It's great to hear from you

@Rosie8888 i totalky understand what you mean about not trying to pretend its ok. I think sometimes we forget that this is a really really hard thing to go through. Apart from death and terminal illness, i reckon ivf cycles realky are one of the most difficult things a person can go through. So sometimes i say to myself, '"Its not ok. Im not ok. And thats because im doing something thats really tough so of course i should worry, cry and be a mental case. It would be abnormal to be o.k. with all this." I think, in this modern western world we live in, there is this culture of thinking positive, looking on the bright side, being strong, appreciating the positives, etc...blah blah blah and we forget that in the real world people do fall apart, cry, feel hopless and helpless and that, that is o.k. and normal. I'm slowly learning to accept how i feel with regards to ivf and stopping the pressure to get it together. Its ok to lose it wirh something like this, iykwim (if you know what i mean) xox
@Heyside I'll be thinking of you tomorrow, praying for 2 pink lines when you poas

@Rosie8888 yeah I have had progesterone pessaries and they came without the applicators. Not all of them have them. I just squatted and shoved it up there. Applicators make it easier though.

@gorgeousgeorge that is exactly right. They say they the stress women undertaking ivf is only just below people going through cancer. All of what you said above makes me feel so much better that's how I feel about it all too. exactly right I'm so sick of hearing look at the positives bla bla. I end up clamming up and not talking to people about my feelings cause they try and tell me how to feel when they have no bloody idea how this all feels. So lucky I found you ladies to make me feel normal :-) I would feel more at ease if I didn't have 1 not so good frostie, so it makes me stress chances of doing another cycle (having to borrow money which I hate) and going through it all again. Thank you for what you wrote I know exactly what you mean. Xxxxx

@Tinachris naaaw, thats a bit sucky. I also hope thats not the case. Its confusing because wouldnt people who do back to back cycles have residual hormones? And when u do a fresh cycle you would have residual hormones even moreso, yeah? I hate it how different drs think different things coz it always stresses me out wondering if someone else would have done something different. Anyway, i hope everything goes well on friday for you. Do you not have to pay if u cancel? Hope so, at least u can use the $ to try again next month.

@Rosie8888 I think you can only push it up so far plus they're so bloody slippery! Just shove it up as far as you can go and lay down straight away for half an hour. You'll be right.

@gorgousgeorge he did a scan last period and I had lots of giant follies which made him think that..yeah I'll have to pay $250 or something. The cycle itself is about $1000 out of pocket if I go ahead. Cheap compared to qfg! Yeah it's a mind fruck how we want to try everything possible and Drs etc - it's all so stressful

@Rosie8888 - No my booster should be clear by tomorrow a full booster probably would have left my system by then but seen as I was only on half it should be gone. Its def ok not to be ok about this and people on the outside will have no idea what you are going through, thats half the reason no body knows what we are doing and those we have opened up to we have selected very carefully. Ok i realise now when you are talking about not having applicators you are referring to the pessaries rather than the crinone I just couldn't work out how you were getting the cream (crinone) in the right spot without applicators.
@gorgeousgeorge - You must definitely summed that up alright ivf is up there with death and terminal illness and maybe its about time the rest of the world learnt that.
@Tinachris - Really hoping that those hormones start to settle down and your cycle goes ahead. I think thats the down side of cheaper clinics they wont adjust the protocol for individuals and all cases must be straight forward where as other clinics may have altered things, I had similar issues with my last budget clinic where it was one case fits all. Thats a definite plus side cost wise though you have gotta love that xx

Thanks for all the positive thoughts ladies for my test tomorrow still not holding out much hope but typically I have had the smallest amount of cramping today just to twist my mind. I would have swore that af was on her way if it wasn't for the bucket load of meds I am on with Warren which I am positive will keep her away. Think its too little to late but its just sent to test my mind now at this late stage aaaarrrraaahhhhhh!!!!
