@sumteng you might have been there at the same time as some of us other bedresters. Where were you seated? What time are you in Friday? I think most of the intralipid ladies are from Wazza or Charlotte.

That's funny that you wanted to do light chores. We girls are so programmed to be independent and run our households. I find I have to do some as DH is well intentioned, but is easily distracted. I'd starve waiting for him! My mum has done heaps of cooking and cleaned yesterday while I slept - I felt so guilty! Wazza said to pretend you're in hospital - so that means you cannot do much...

@Gagingi I was in this Mon. Next Fri I'm in 8ish.

I actually wanted to go to work that Fri. You should have seen my jaw drop when I got told bed rest - so not complaining now given how fatigued I've been this week. Between MIL and SIL helping out DH (men! can't multitask to save their lives!), the house is a bomb site care factor is 0.00001. I do still sneak up for the occasional fridge raid but not enough for DH to put a restraining order on me just yet . Don't feel guilty - I find that family feel better that they CAN help as there is not much more they can do in the actually fertility part. Lap it up and just think of it as practicing for when bubs comes and you'll have a full routine down pat by then.

Bracing myself for tomorrow's appointment as I'm sure Wazza is going to be a lot more blunt with his treatment plan. Oh boy ...

@sumteng I'll be there at 11 next Friday, so we'll probably crossover for a bit.

Wazza put me on bedrest and he was quite gentle and reasonable. Less joking than usual though. I wouldn't be surprised if he extends your bedrest... Good luck with your scan. I know it's stressful.

thx Chyna, got a heartbeat this morning!!! Both Wazza & Charlotte came in for a good look and were happy given the circumstances, but still noticeable blood in the lining. Nonetheless, have never gotten this far ... am so relieved! Will get my BT this results later this morning (more for my sake) and have graduated to Charlotte as my ob/gyn !

@Gagingi - Yep, another 2 wks bed rest so will def be looking forward to intralipids next Fri! Who would have thought the infusion clinic was going to get me excited. I guess that's what happens when it's the only trip out of the house allowed.

That's awesome news honey and what a relief. I would of loved to have Charlotte as my ob but the Mater is so far away for us.

@sumteng congrats on the heartbeat. What a relief. We've got Charlotte as our Ob too. We love her. She must be very busy as I think she is a first choice for a lot of Wazza's patients. It is great that the transition to her is seamless and she is sensible and careful too, plus has a great sense of humour (she'd have to have, to work so closely with Wazza!).

Enjoy your rest. I hope you have Netflix or a bunch of shows have fallen off the back of an internet connection...

@sumteng hi, i know we don't know each other very well but just wanted to say im happy for you. Lovely news to read having knocked off on a friday arvo.
@Tinachris and @Heyside glad to see you're cycling again and things are underway. I'll be sending you baby dust all the way xox
Afm, ive been pretty quiet and feeling a bit guilty coz when i joined in this thread i was having a breakdown and everyone here was so lovely and kind and supportive and ive been feeling like lately i only pop in when i want/need something. But i have been reading to catch up every few days :-) and i still very much care and think about all you ladies xox its marking and report season at my high school so its been crazy 60 hour weeks lately!
I had a hysto/endo biopsy on thurs because its been 2 years since i first had one and i wanted to double check my uterus etc...was all ok and hear my australian specialist say i will be a good candidate for donor eggs. He did the procedure for free even though it was full on day surgery with a general anesthetic. He also gave me the scripts n blood test requests i need for overseas donor ivf with the bulk bill box ticked so they wont cost me a fortune, told me to call for anything else i needed and wished me the best of luck. Ive cancelled my appointment with charlotte because it would cost me about $1000 to get up there and im gonna save that $ for athens in september. Not just for that but simply, im sick and tired of trying with my own eggs. As my tubes arent blocked, if i count all my natural ttc cycles from age 30 to age 35 and all the ivf eggs they got out of me from age 35-36, i think thats about 46 eggs that never fertilised or progressed in utero, so im running with the mantra that "my eggs are f@#cked" and its much easier now i feel that i have proved that to myself.
Id really love to stay in this thread though :-)

Also wanted to check for ladies travelling to see wazza/charlotte do you know about IPTAAS? I only just found out about it. Its a travel subsidy for patients who gave to travel over 100km to see a specialist. If you want more info message me or let me know and I'll make a more detailed pist on here. Ive just added up 25x 400km trips from home to albury or 11000km that i have driven over the last 2 years of ivf and im gonna get $2000 back! Thats my airfare to athens!!!!!! Yay!!! (No wonder i needed new tyres when i put my car in for a rego check last week)
