I'm staying clear of the POAS but mostly because I'm a big chicken and just can't face the negative I'm feeling sure it will give me. Not feeling at all like I'm going to get a positive result. All the girls on here are a little bit different with facing a new cycle. Some prefer to just jump straight back in feeling good about taking action and others give it a month or two break for a bit of relief from all the meds and recovery time. It really depends on how you are feeling I guess. I'm pretty sure Wazza is ok about doing back to back cycles if your body is up for it. He'd certainly let you know either way. I'm hoping your test was a false negative and you won't need to go down that path. I can't bring myself to think past the BT on Saturday. I feel like I'm caught up in the 'am i pregnant' zone and fear the reality of what might come after Saturday.
I won't do anymore testes before bloods in Saturday.

Thanks for the advice re next cycle - has given me something to think about.

Fingers crossed for you for Saturday!!!!!!

@mrsparso - Yes that exactly how we felt with Wazza yesterday he spent a lot of time with us probably around 45 minutes and didn't rush us for a decision. Yes we are definitely holding onto the fact that he things we can still do it.
@Rosie8888 - What a lovely way to celebrate hun your bub will be the conclusion to your wedding x
@Zowiebluebell - Sorry to hear about your bfn hun really hoping the test was wrong but I know the feeling of wanting to plan and prepare for the next cycle so understand. As I mentioned yesterday Warren is happy for us to try again next cycle his words where I am happy to support you in your decision. Remind me did you have any frozen embies?
Hi lovely, we did have 2 frosties but not great quality (Cc grade, Kate said they may not survive the thaw).

Might just go straight back into it.

I was looking forward to the medication break though. Lol!

    Hi ladies,
Just had a question about Human Growth Hormones and whether anyone has taken it and had success? I've already gone through one round of IVF with another doc, with 1 egg to test from 10 collected which was abnormal. I have an AMH of 10. I also have issues with egg quality and that's why I'm doing ivf. I've had 4 natural pregnancies all resulting in missed miscarriages. So I'm wondering if HGH could help... I'll be talking to Warren about it again on day 6 but thought I'd put it out there in the meantime ☺

@mrsparso - It definitely gets harder the further along we get especially having to wait so long for the boosters. Big hugs hun thinking of you as I know how it can get so frustrating at this stage.
@Zowiebluebell - Our embie is either a cc grade or cb grade not sure which one was our normal, Warren didn't mention he was concerned about it thawing yesterday he was actually encouraging us to go for a straight FET and rely on it thawing. Whatever you decide I hope its the right decision for you whenever the outcome on Saturday.
@newbeginnings284 - Hi love, I tried GH last cycle with Warren but for me personally it didn't have any great effect and he has advised us not to use it next time. That doesn't mean to say its the same for everyone I know Warren is a strong believer in its use generally and if it was cheaper he would encourage most people to use it. I know that it doesn't work on the eggs chromosomally (which is more of my issue) and works more at a cellular level so might more effect issues with fragmentation.

@Heyside - that makes me feel better, thanks

    Hope you are feeling ok?

@Heyside Thank you for your reply. I have issues with my embryos chromosomally too so I guess it probably won't be for me. It was such an overload in the appt but you reminded me why Warren had said it wasn't going to address my (main) issue.

Hi @newbeginnings284. I am on the journey of my second cycle with Wazza trying to conceive baby no.2. I did IVF in Sydney with previous specialist and got preggo second round with our one and only viable embryo. At that point our infertility was just unexplained. Now Wazza thinks I have poor egg quality, possibly endo and hubby has some fsh sperm issues. My first round with Wazza all of our embryo's ended up with multinucleation and didn't make it to day 5 for transfer. So this time Wazza suggested the growth hormone to try and improve the egg quality. I'm not sure how much entirely it contributed but we ended up with an embryo to transfer and one to freeze which was a much better result than before. I'm having my BT on Sat. I'm not feeling very positive about it but if i do end up cycling again i would most likely use the growth hormone again. My thinking was that if i can do anything to try and improve our chances than it was worth a shot at least once. It is expensive so that's definitely an extra consideration. I hope that's helpful for you.

Hi @newbeginnings284 - I did the GH and am now 10 wks. That being said, it was our first IVF with Warren (I swapped FS after x3 failed IVF's elsewhere) we were prepared to throw everything at our first attempt with Warren, every test, meds, vitamin, lipoidal flush, scratch, "special instructions" that Waz requested, we did (except the brandy at FET - that was the only thing I flatly refused). It's hard to say if it did contribute given we seriously tried everything for this one. I'm hoping that the combination of it all did it for me, plus I'm not sure how much or little of it was a placebo effect mentally cos I knew I was on an extremely better IVF plan from where I last came from! Sorry, that doesn't entirely answer your question, but I do know where it's possible, Warren does recommend it. If it is something you can do for a first go, I'd suggest you try it and see if it has a positive effect on you.
