I haven't eaten BBQ shapes in at least 10 years. However after reading this thread I can't stop thinking about them. I'm now tempted to track down as many boxes of the old recipe as I can and scoff the lot.

Apologies for the derail - has anyone seen Dixie Drumsticks on their travels? It's been a long time but I'm still hopeful. I understand, other pretend ones just don't cut it.

I believe the in-a-biskit range is completely discontinued. I used to love potato in-a-biskit and was pretty bummed when I realised it no longer existed

Default Arnotts Shapes. What have they done?!?

I wonder if this whole thing is a ploy to boost sales for the Shapes biscuits 🤔
Edit: as in they never planned on getting rid of the old ones totally

I made the mistake of buying the new BBQ shapes. I had to taste for myself if they were really that bad and they are!

They are so bad in the way that they don't taste anything alike, they're like the home brand / try hard version. The biscuit doesn't seem to have changed much, just the pathetic flavouring.

It used to be flavour you can see on a base that you crunch, now it's like the invisible flavour on a base that no longer matters if the flavour has been taken away.

Default Arnotts Shapes. What have they done?!?

Well my coles still had the original pizza shapes so I got 4 boxes today. Pesky kids have already devoured half of one. Going to have to hide them. I explained they were going to be impossible to buy soon and mum needs them but my 7 year old just stared at me like I was a lunatic and ate them anyway.

Wonder if I can get a new recipe for my kids?

I don't eat Shapes anymore as I'm low carb but I do have fond memories of BBQ and pizza shapes.

Someone just shared this fb post and it cracked me up!!
