That sucks I'm so sorry! My company has gone through this too and just from what I've seen..... they may try and avoid letting you go because you cost too much to pay out given you've been there so long? So maybe someone more junior will go and you'll take over their work? From what happened in my industry (across a heap of big companies) they tended to target people who had been around less than 7 years first.
