Harvest in full swing here. Canola and barley done. Wheat started a couple of hours ago. Fingers crossed rain stays away so we are finished by Christmas. 19 weeks pregnant, working full time 50km from home, 2 year old who misses his daddy and who has daycare another 50km away. Fun fun, very tired mum/wife here!

Harvest is soooooo slow! We have just finished the Canola - this time last year the entire harvest was done.

There is so much hay stacked in paddocks and the bunkers are getting very full too.

Home alone sucks! I think the churches run an eat alone lunch on Christmas Day - let me know if you need the details.

Is the grain coming in thick and fast? Hubs is having problems with the wheat at the moment, it's too green still but the grain is falling out of the head.

I think Chritmas day os the only day I'll have off between now and Australia day. Booked that weekend off before I even started the job.

Id prob feel more alone eating at an eat alone thing lol

Well, we've finally had a good, hot run and the trucks are busy! Yields are above average and hubby is exhausted.

    Dave are you busy?
