Has anyone had a successful vbac after a previous uterine rupture (which happened with my daughter two years ago)? Newly pregnant. Thinking about options Tia

VBA2C after rupture
17-04-2016 08:57 #2
What did your doctor say to you after your previous caesarean? I would be asking questions like why did your uterus rupture previously? Where did it rupture? What is the likelihood of it rupturing again? What are the reasons for wanting a VBA2C?
Professionally I can't imagine anyone prepared to risk a VBA2C with a previous rupture. I'm fairly certain none of the doctors I work with would sign up for it. But you never know. At the very least I would expect they would want you to deliver at a major hospital with 24/7 on call theatre access.
