I just want to say a huge sorry to everyone for posting that pee stick last night and for sharing what I thought was a pretty clear BFP. As it turns out it's been a BFN ever since, so I don't really know what happened to get such a clear line last night. I feel very stupid, but I really thought this was different to a squinter and that something real was happening.

Anyway, I have an appointment with my FS at 9am tomorrow to work out a plan and to see if I can find out why I have a chem every few months. The frustrating thing is that I'm 44 and appear to still be fertile, although my eggs may not be any good, so it is really hard to see those lines come up and then disappear.

Could there be any negative association with progesterone? When I had my four pregnancies they were all with no progesterone support and I got through to between 6 & 9 weeks no problem each time. Since I started the medical route I've always been prescribed progesterone and either never fallen pregnant or at the first sign of a squinter I've whacked a progesterone in and then it's failed to go anywhere. Just wondering if there is ever a negative association? Probably clutching at straws...

Thanks for all your support and I'm so sorry that all your excitement and good wishes have been in vain. I'm pretty gutted, but angry too. It's so close, but so far and I don't want to give up on my OE if I'm getting this close. I'll see what the FS has to say tomorrow but I guess I'm going to have to have some type of investigation to see what is going on in my oven.

    I'm cracking the wine again...

Oh hon, I'm so sad for you. I can't believe it's happened again.

Please don't apologise for getting excited. Trust me, we were all on board with you - it looked like a real BFP to all of us.

I just don't get it. There has to be a reason for this. I'm just so disappointed for you

@Summer no apology needed. Chemical pregnancies suck. There's nothing like false hope to give you a kick in the guts. Just keep your eyes on the prize and don't let the universes cruel taunts get you down. Onwards and upwards.

@tegs26 I started it on CD1 for my FET (CD20 of prior for OE cycles) and you take it in the morning. My dosage has varied dramatically (5-50mg) as I've had additional diagnoses made, so it would depend on what you are taking it for... I'd just ring a few times a day until you get a nurse or ask reception to check with Wazza. I think he is usually there 6-8am seeing patients (although I'd ring from 5am as he gets in earlier) and then at the hospital and back at lunchtime-ish (but phones are jammed at lunch). I think some Wednesdays he leaves early and maybe another day per week (his wife's orders), but maybe not this week with holidays coming up...

@Summer sorry to hear that. It's so frustrating getting the BFP and then it fading out. I think it's probably the age thing, the ladies in here who do the PGD testing on their embies know all to well that it's bloody lucky to find a normal one. The thing is though you are getting to the first bit so who knows what could happen, it might just be a case of finding your lucky good egg, but I know that that just gets harder and harder to wait for. Are you guys pretty set on the de thing? I think it's hard to draw the line of when to move onto plan b, yes you could certainly keep trying naturally and quite possibly will get lucky but then it's the risk that you might not either and like me, want a baby...yesterday. Big hugs, don't ever feel silly in here, none of its silly it's just bloody frustrating and that's putting it nicely. Xx
