are you ready for my news........ 2 follicles on the left and after trying hard to find the right there was only a tiny one. 12 & 14 so my body's sheer brilliance has done it again!! I was waiting for my scan getting nervous and then I just thought, stop. enough. you cant do anything more. I was prepared for a cr@p scan so there it was. My only positive thought was that they were close together so hoping that means 2. Its funny how ready you are for donor eggs and then you start doing one more OE cycle and you kind of forget that the DE thing is there. So I will wait for the results phone call and see what they have to say. Ive been to epu with 1 egg before so Im guessing it will just continue as business as usual. Just get it over with really. uurggh.

on the upside I have a sicilian blood orange and chocolate ice cream in the freezer

and my new work arrangement with the US studio is going really well !!!

    Fruck U IVF

I'm sorry it wasn't better news hon but I must say I love your attitude.

And hey, you never know - one of those two might be the one you've been waiting for.

    Big hugs

How are you going @greenlady? I think you were due for epu soon?

I have just gone and had my hcg blood test. AF started last night so it felt like the worlds most pointless test. Anyway I guess it had to be done. We now have to decide if we stim again or move on.
@Tinachris and @infinity888 I hope you have better luck than me on Monday.
@calypso75 - sorry to here about the arrival of AF. I think you always need to let the dust settle on bad news before deciding what to do next. I often change my mind between the day of getting the bad news and a few days later. I had EPU yesterday 16 collected but already down to 6 as only 10 were mature (worst maturity rate so far maybe due to the lucrin trigger rather than HCG trigger) and only 6 fertilised.

6 out of 10 with ICSI is pretty good Luv!! I'm sorry there weren't more mature one's among the haul Yep, it could've been the Lucrin trigger or just a sh!t Cycle for you??? Hard to know really.

and prayers being sent for all 6 making it to Day 5!!!

    Are you feeling allright???

welcome back @skye76. I think we can all understand the slightly obsessive state we get in during ivf cycles. it's good to have a break. glad to hear things have calmed a bit for you

    enjoy your driving lesson @Bongley

& day off @midnite01, lucky you

so sorry to hear @calypso75 I was hoping for a better result for you this cycle.

yes, stay around @Molros, it will be nice to have you hear. sorry to hear about the health issues with your relatives. congrats on your BFP! could it be twins?

speaking of twins, I just saw this article - turns out the FSH is involved so it explains why there's often a higher chance during IVF

Genes behind increased chance of having non-identical twins identified

Lucrin trigger was my choice as I just wanted to change something in the hope it gave me a better outcome. Doing luveris and Gonal f was also my choice for the same reason. I think my eggs are just all crap and no protocol change is really going to fix that. Feeling ok just hoping to have something to biopsy on day 5 or 6.

Yes Im just hoping that all the good things Ive been doing help that golden egg work FFS

I thought I could see follicles on the right but she had a really hard time actually seeing the ovary. Oh well it is what it is. chances better than natural so thats what I have to focus on

Hows your EDA stuff going? I haven't had much time to get on there properly
maybe they'll find some more on RHS next scan/at EPU. yes, hoping they're great quality.

going slowly at EDA. I got excited when I received an email from someone but they were just saying hi which was nice. at least it confirmed the message function works. I pop in every day or so apart from when I was away, but don't feel that comfortable there yet. will see how it goes. could take a while I guess. I've never been that good at small talk. and for some reason my threads don't appear in 'recent activity' link even when they've had posts. so probably flying under the radar if anyone is watching anyway. I just want to be pg again & have the healthy bub. all the waiting & out of my hands parts is hard to manage. at least when it's OE you can set the timeframe so that's one part you can control even if the result is out of your hands

@calypso75 I hated going for post AF HCG tests too. Hugs sweetie. When the dust settles let us know what your next steps are. I think some ladies here will have some ideas on meds to keep AF away if you are going to cycle again. Someone mentioned Luteal Phase defect (? @tuxcat) I think that's what I had. I ended up getting a script for crinone from my GP and upped my own dose but there are better meds than that the ladies can advise you on. Ah, but I am getting ahead of myself. For now:
