The known egg donor program seems to have worked so well. I hope anyone considering it is reading along. I don't know how many frosties MamaKes got but between your 13 and Maxwellsmum's 9 I am pretty impressed.

    An heir and multiple spares!
Wow that is truly amazing. After disappointment after disappointment to get those sort of numbers must be surreal. Would you consider donating the embryos that you have left over? Is that even possible on the program?

    Default IVF over 40 #30

Hi to all you lovely ladies. I haven't been keeping up too much over the last couple of weeks, have been in operation count down & get ready. Just thought I'd let you know I had a little boy yesterday. William Albert, born at 4:28pm, 7lb5oz 😊
5 hours in labour once it was established, ended up having an epidural, but complications with my BP, so had to be turned off. Will made quite a quick entrance in the end, and there was a knot in the umbilical cord, but healthy bub. Spewking a bit of mucus through the night, but feeding well.
Just wanted to thank you all for keeping me sane & supporting me through this ivf journey. Definitely couldn't have done it without you all ❤️
Here's a pic of Will about 1 hour old x

@Gen72 Yes, it's so great that things have worked so well , another option for infertile couples. Especially as it known, I remember feeling quite despairing once we decided that was what we wanted as it seemed the more tricky route. Let's hope it gets a lot of support.
